An exciting opportunity has arisen at Broomgrove Trust Nursing Home for the position of Clinical Nurse Lead who possesses a genuine commitment to providing high quality nursing care within our care setting.
As the Clinical Nurse Lead, you will work with the Nursing Home Manager to provide strong clinical leadership throughout the 24-hour period ensuring the care offered to residents is of a high quality, planned in negotiation with the resident and is individualized to their needs. This will be achieved with support from the clinical nursing team.
You will lead by example and co-ordinate the multi professional nursing team under the supervision of the Nursing Home manager and working closely with your team to push for continuous, daily improvements. You will provide person centered and quality driven care and ensure that you make every day better for the people who live in the home. We are looking for motivated and organised candidates willing to take responsibilities and initiative and deliver nursing care when is necessary and to be able to work under pressure and complete Management duties as well.

About you:
- Registered General Nurse with a valid NMC pin
- Experience of leading & managing a team, ideally within a management role, within a health care setting (minimum 5 years)
- Strong clinical skills
- Quick learner, able to implement our staff values within the team
- Motivated and enthusiastic on mentoring and coaching all the staff
- Drive and focus to provide excellent customer service and quality of care
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience and an up to date understanding of care service practices, legislation, regulations and standards
- Experience to develop weekly rota
Hours
Full time – Mon-Fri – 37.5 hours per week/8 hours shift per day (usually 8:00 – 16:00 – you are entitled to 15 minutes complementary break and an additional 30 minutes unpaid break)
- You would be required to work 2-3 days on the floor as a nurse and the rest in the office
- Must be flexible to work occasional weekends
About Your benefits:
- Salary we offer is £40,000 – £42,000 per year depending on experience
