Broomgrove Nursing Home are looking for a Full Time Administrator to join our busy team.
As the Home Administrator, you will report directly to the Nursing Home Manager and work closely with the other Administrator and heads of department in order to effectively organise and manage all administrative matters relating to the Home.
The rate of pay is £10.71 per hour
Prepare contracts and invoices for new residents, plus process fees.
Process invoices and enter them into a ledger.
Co-ordinate admissions with the Registered Manager, ensure all contractual and financial details are completed with the resident and/or the representative.
Maintain a day-to-day account of residents’ personal float and petty cash; ensuring this is recorded accordingly
Maintain administration systems relating to residents.
To provide a comprehensive Administration service which will support the business and clinical activity of the home.
Be the first point of contact for residents and visitors, offering friendly, welcoming and professional support.
Ensure our computer systems are maintained via Microsoft Office.
Deal with any queries efficiently.
Develop and maintain good filing systems.
Deal with mail, scanning, stationery, photocopying and any other office/administrative tasks.
Answer and follow up on enquiries about the Home.
Maintain accurate records.
Candidates must have good IT skills with working knowledge of Word, Excel and e-mail, Excellent Telephone Manner, a flexible approach to work, the ability to prioritise workload, Good Communication Skills
Desirable Attributes; Some Accounting Experience, Cash Handling Experience, knowledge of working in a confidential &/or care setting.
