Since then he has been a company director and is a business advisor. He was a school governor for 26 years and has been a trustee of several trusts and charities. He is married with 2 grown up boys and 3 granddaughters. He is a keen golfer, enjoys fly fishing and has been a judge of toy dogs at dog shows.
His interests include patient records, multidisciplinary working and turning around doctors in difficulty.
He is married with a son and a daughter and four grandchildren.
Her career in Cardiothoracic nursing working in Intensive Care followed until she decided to pursue a role in Nurse Management in the Private sector. This resulted in her becoming the Director of Nursing at Thornbury Hospital for 11 years. Janet retired from Nursing 9 years ago.
She has a son, daughter and four gorgeous grandchildren.
During this period Jackie’s husband became very ill requiring full time home care during a long progressive terminal illness. In nursing her husband it became necessary for Jackie to understand the complexities and procedures required both medically and financially to ensure the best possible care.
Jackie is currently a member of Ecclesall Surgery Patient Participation Group.
He is a former Works Director of both the Stocksbridge and Rotherham engineering steels businesses and is a past Chairman of the former Rotherham Training and Enterprise Council. He enjoys playing golf at Hallamshire although the fellowship and exercise is often better than the quality of his golf!
He is currently Head of Marketing at Irwin Mitchell, one of the largest law firms in the UK, where he is responsible for a large team people covering all aspects of marketing across the UK.
David lives in Bradway, Sheffield, with his wife and two children.
Amanda still works and has worked over 25 years at St Luke’s Hospice in Sheffield as the Payroll and Finance Co-ordinator.
